Our technicians perform all of the preliminary testing on the patients before their exam, as well as any special testing the doctor orders. They are also responsible for helping the doctors by getting them contacts or anything else needed during the exam, escorting the patients to optical or to the front desk, as well as confirming appointments.
Kim enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends.
While working she loves getting to know her patients and helping
them see the best they can.
Jess enjoys her days working along her childhood eye doctor, continuing to learn,
and helping patients clinically or adding cheer to their day. On her free time she enjoys reading,
singing and spending time with her loved ones.
Four-wheeling, camping, watching movies, the occasional adult beverage and reading are all things Crystal enjoys while away from the office. Her
favorite thing about being a technician is directly interacting with the patients and enhancing their vision. She appreciates the community outreach within our office, and
has been on several mission trips with Dr. Satryan and VOSH PA to Haiti.
Karly is a Pittsburgh Penguin fanatic and loves going to their games.
She is a thrill seeker who enjoys going to amusement parks and riding rollercoasters.
One thing she loves about her job is working closely with her patients, as well as working with a
great group of coworkers and doctors.
Michele enjoys seeing familiar faces while she is at work.
She likes being able to answer questions or concerns about testing to help put patients at ease.
In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband, Nick, and her two step children.
Jeremy enjoys talking with the patients and helping them find a better quality of vision. He also enjoys working with his dad, Dr. Shawn Jones.
He is a current student at Duquesne studying Biology. When he is not studying or working he enjoys running, lifting and
spending time with friends and family.
Taylor looks forward to moments throughout the day where we can make each other smile.
She also enjoys getting to interact with our patients. When Taylor is not at work you can find her walking
her dog Kylo, or spending time with friends or family. She is attending Penn State for Biobehavioral Health
